St. Croix Events
There's something fun happening every day of the year on St. Croix—and sometimes lots of things all at once. The event calendar will help you decide when to come to suit your interests, and how to schedule your days when you get here.
The people of St. Croix just love parades, so they schedule lots of them. Come during Crucian Christmas Festival (December-January), Mardi Croix (February), and St. Patrick's Day (March) to line the streets or parade along with us.
"Jump Up" street parties keep Christiansted stores open late several times a year with sale prices while steel bands and mocko jumbie stilt dancers entertain. From November through June, Art Thursday gallery walks (third Thursday each month) invite you to sip wine with artists and craftspeople and see their latest creations.
Year round, Sunset Jazz on the Frederiksted waterfront (third Friday each month) is a great place to meet local people. Bring a blanket or beach towel and claim a spot on the lawn.
Look for open air events like our summer Mango Melee at the St. George Village Botanical Garden and our massive winter Agriculture and Food Fair over Presidents' Day weekend. And if you're athletic, join us and compete in our biggest events—the International Regatta in February, Ironman 70.3TM Triathlon in May, or Coral Reef Swim Race in October.
